Founded in 1992, Metroclean has proven to have one of Houston’s best commercial cleaning teams! Our track record shows not only a team that works well together, but one that goes above and beyond to help our customers.
After having spent a few years in the consulting world, Naoko purchased Metroclean to fulfill her dream of becoming a business owner in 2003. Management knowledge gained from her Rice MBA was immediately put to use to restructure Metroclean into a Woman Business Enterprise (WBE). She began to concentrate on employee retention programs to ensure a more stable workforce and on new banking relationships to ensure proper financing for Metroclean’s growth. In 2010 Metroclean underwent a technology upgrade to bring the Accounting and CRM systems up to date.
Jose Perez is the President of Metroclean and brings with him over 22 years of management experience. He has excelled in the Janitorial Industry for over ten years working for companies such as GCA Service Group before finally moving to Metroclean. Due to his extensive management background, Jose has superb experience in team building, accountability, follow up and training. He began his Metroclean career as the Director of Operations and, for the past four years, has turned his attention to effectively running Metroclean as its President. His hands-on approach to customer service and managing his operations team has allowed the company to create and maintain lasting relationships with clients and employees alike.
Director of Human Resources and Safety
Anita Jimenez is Metroclean's Director of Human Resources and Safety with over 11 years of experience in the Construction and Service Industry. Along with the great detail involved in the duties of being the Director of Safety within Metroclean's organization, she excels in the areas of Risk Management and Injury Prevention. With the experience and knowledge she demonstrates managing losses, Anita is able to support Metroclean’s safety program and train our employees with an emphasis on identifying and preventing hazards using behavior based methods of control.
Director of Operations
Lorenzo is Metroclean’s Director of Operations with over 15 years of management experience. He is the newest member of the Metroclean clean, bringing with him a fresh look on the Industry and a vibrant energy to the Operations team that is felt throughout the company. His strong leaderships skills, multi-lingual abilities-fluent in English, Spanish and Italian, deep sense of moral compass and personable yet professional personality have made him a valuable asset to the Metroclean leadership team. Since becoming part of the team, Lorenzo has defused several Customer concerns, aided in keeping the Operations team running smoothly and found ways to improve efficiency.
Rogelio Castro has worked his way up in the janitorial industry, and today, his resume includes over 28 years of industry experience. In addition to his Operations Management role, Rogelio provides employee training and best practice procedures to all our janitorial team, including performance techniques, proper equipment use and MSDS. Rogelio has come onboard and revamped Metroclean’s night operations. His relentless pursuit for perfection has grown into a sophisticated process of checks and balances that our staff must follow on a day to day basis. Rogelio’s dedication to duty and masterful application of Metroclean guidelines and procedures have helped us bring more consistent methods to our business operations.
Rafael has 13 years of experience in janitorial operations and management. He is consistent and thorough in making sure the employees on his team have received proper training and substantial guidance. He began his career at Metroclean as a Supervisor at One Riverway, which gave him a tremendous amount of experience within the janitorial operations of a first class building. As an Operation Manager, his responsibilities include inspecting facilities daily as well as conducting quality assurance checks to ensure customer satisfaction.
Carmen Valdez’s 10 years of experience has taught her the ins and outs of the cleaning industry while working for companies such as Pritchard, Aztec, and now Metroclean. During this time, Carmen worked her way up from working as a maid to managing and supervising many employees as a route manager here at Metroclean. Not only does she work with the employees to ensure tasks and special projects are taken care of, but she also works alongside the customer service manager to make certain that Metroclean’s clients are satisfied.
Angie Rios has 24 years of experience in the janitorial industry and knowledge of business administration from her time at TSU. From her previous positions with ABM and McLemore Building Maintenance, Angie brings exceptional service operations and managerial skills. She understands the importance of safety regulations, communication and employee training as well as supervision. While at Metroclean, Angie maintains strong working relationships with both clients and employees alike.
Amada Palomares is a versatile professional that has over 15 years of management experience with a strong background in customer service, leadership, training and project management. She began her management journey in retail with KB Toys and found her way to the janitorial industry when she began with Metroclean in 2015. Amada consistently ensures her team is on the right track with open communication between her and those she manages and understanding the responsibilities of each employee.
